Chiyaan Vikram was last seen on screen in the Rajesh M Selva directed Kadaram Kondan and is next acting in a number of movies with some of the top directors of Kollywood, and he also has the Malayalam biggie Mahavir Karna in pipeline.

Recently, there was a report on a portal claiming that Vikram is set to quit his acting career to focus on the career of his son Dhruv Vikram who had made his debut last year with Adithya Varma.

However this report is baseless, and an official clarification has come from sources close to the actor that Vikram has no plans to quit acting. With movies like Cobra directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan and another movie with producer 7 screen studios Lalit Kumar, Vikram has been extremely busy with most expected flicks in the coming years, and this makes it clear that reports on the actor quitting films are false.
