Young actor Vikram Prabhu is presently busy with 'Wagah' directed by GNR Kumaravel and 'Veera Sivaji' directed by Ganesh Vinayak.

Now the third generation hero from the Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan family has started working on another film. The new film which has been launched with a formal pooja on Wednesday is directed by S.R.Prabhakar of 'Sundarapandiyan' fame and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music for the film. The heroine and other cast and crew details of this film are yet to be finalized.

The prestigious Sathya Jothi Films banner is producing this film.

The launch event was graced by senior actor and Vikram Prabhu's father Prabhu and director Prabhu Solomon who launched Vikram Prabhu as an actor with the super hit film 'Kumki' and senior producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu.

Thanu started the camera rolling, Prabhu Solomon called the first shot of the film canned today while Prabhu hit the clapboard for the shot featuring Vikram Prabhu with a few junior artists.
