Actor Vikram Prabhu is keeping his finger crossed as he will be having his second release of the year within a gap of a month and few days. While 'Wagah' released on the Independence Day 'Veera Sivaji' directed by Ganesh Vinayak of 'Thagararu' fame will be hitting the screens on September 23 that is in less than a fortnight from now.

Today the film has been watched by the Censor board and the officials have accorded a clean U Certificate for the film. This will make the film eligible to be viewed by the Tamil Nadu Government's committee for recommending Entertainment Tax exemption based on its content

'Veera Sivaji' will mark the debut of Shamli the sister of Thala Ajith's wife Shalini, as a heroine in Kollywood. She was a popular child artist in 1990s. The supporting cast includes 'Motta' Rajendran, Mahanadhi Shankar. Baby Sadhanya, Vinodhini, Robo Shankar. Yogi Babu. VTV Ganesh. John Vijay. G.Marimuthu and many others. D.Imman has rendered the musical score.

The film touted to be an action entertainer has been shot in various locations like Pondicherry, Cuddalore, Trichy, Seergazhi and Tanjore. S.Nandagopal under the Madras Enterprises banner has bankrolled this project.
