Director GNR Kumaravelan's last release 'Haridas' received enormous critical acclaim as it as the first Tamil film to deal with Autistic children . Now the talented director has completed his next film 'Wagah' which is another ambitious project that deals with the life of a Indian army man poster at the Wagah border of the country falling in love with a Pakistani girl.

'Wagah' stars Vikram Prabhu and Ranya Rao in lead roles and D.Imman has scored the music. The film has been produced by M.Bala Vishwanathan of Vijaya Bhargavi Films banner.

The latest announcement from the 'Wagah' team is that the film will be hitting the screens on August 12 2016 to ensure that the audience get to watch the film in theaters during the 69th Independence day of our country. The music launch happened a few months ago.
