Actor Vikram Prabhu has officially launched his own production banner First Artist Productions and also the first film that will be produced under this banner. The launch event was held in the house of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan located at T.Nagar, Chennai,

The event witnessed the participation of film industry veterans like producers Kalaipuli.S.Thanu and AVM Saravanan. Vikram's proud father actor Prabhu played the perfect host.

The film has been titled as 'Neruppu Da' cashing in on the unanimous success of the 'Kabali' theme song. Vikram Prabhu apparently plays a fire fighter and an ardent fan of Superstar Rajinikanth in this film. Nikki Galrani will be the lead lady.

'Neruppu Da' will be directed by Ashok, a former associate of Lakshman of 'Romeo Juliet' fame. Sean Roldon has been roped in to score the music for this film.
