Chiyaan Vikram is drenching in the showers of praises that he has gained for his robust performance as the aggressive Chola crown prince Aditha Karikalan in 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' directed by Mani Ratnam. As per sources, his long-delayed film 'Dhruva Natchathiram' might be released in December.

We all know that Vikram teamed up with director Pa Ranjith for his next project tentatively called 'Chiyaan61', which went on the floors in July. Now, the latest reports suggest that the test shoot for the upcoming film will take place in Chennai tomorrow (October 12). Sources also say that the regular shoot will commence on Friday, October 14.

Produced by Studio Green, the film is said to be a period-action drama about the lives of mine workers in the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). It is touted to be one of the costliest films in Chiyaan's career to be made in 3D technology. GV Prakash is the music composer of this untitled movie.
