Chiyaan Vikram is thrilled about his upcoming release 'Ponniyin Selvan 1, directed by Mani Ratnam. He also has 'Cobra', 'Chiyaan 61' and 'Dhruva Natchathiram' in his pipeline. Vikram, who completed the works for 'Cobra' and 'PS-1', is currently enjoying holidays in London.

Vikram joined forces with Pa Ranjith and Studio Green for 'Chiyaan 61'. We already updated you that the upcoming project is tentatively titled 'Maithaanam'. Now, the latest we hear is that the versatile actor will start shooting for 'Chiyaan 61' in July month. He will return to India next month and wrap up the pending works for 'Dhruva Natchathiram'.

Interestingly, Pa Ranjith had narrated a script to Vikram back when he was directing 'Madras' itself. It was delayed due to Pa Ranjith getting the opportunity to direct superstar Rajinikanth. Recently, it was reported that the 'Chiyaan 61' story is the magical realism script that Ranjith wrote for Thalapathy Vijay.
