Chiyaan Vikram, who was last seen on screen in the action movie Kadaram Kondan directed by Rajesh M Selva, is next shooting for his 58th movie which is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who has previously directed hit movies like Demonte Colony and Imaikka Nodigal.

Chiyaan Vikram 58 which is rumoured to be titled as Amar marks the Tamil debut of Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty and also marks the Tamil acting debut of popular Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. This movie, said to be an action entertainer will have music by AR Rahman.

The latest speculation making rounds is that Malayalam actor Shane Nigam, who has acted in popular movies like Kumbalangi Nights and Ishq and recently was involved in a controversy leading to his ban, might be a part of Chiyaan Vikram 58, and an official clarification is expected on this speculation. Previously, Shane Nigam was supposed to debut in Tamil with Seenu Ramasamy's Spa.
