After the super hit success of 'Iru Mugan' there were a lot of speculations about Chiyaan Vikram's next. Though it is confirmed that he will be teaming up with director Hari for 'Saamy 2' it was clear that this sequel project will take off only in early 2017 and it was expected that Vikram will complete a film before that.

Names of many directors were linked with Vikram's next and the list incldues Socrates the director of Sasikumar starrer 'Brahmman'. It was also said that Vikram would star in the Tamil remake of the recent Hollywood blockbuster thriller 'Don't Breathe' and it was said that 'Iru Mugan' director Anand Shankar will wield the megaphone for this project.

Now a surprise official announcement confirms that Vikram will be teaming up with director Vijay Chander of 'Vaalu' fame. This film will be produced by SFF banner.

The makers of confirmed that this film will be a novel plot as Vikram is a star who prefers to act in different stories and challenging characters. They have not let out any other information about the plot or genre of the film.

The star cast and crew members of the project will be announced very soon.
