It has become almost certain that Chiyaan Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' will not release in September 1st week as planned earlier. the postponement is attributed to delay in completion of VFX work and Telugu version getting ready.

But there is good news for Vikram fans to cheer about. Official sources reveal that the final copy of 'Iru Mugan' in both Tamil and Telugu languages is ready.

The source adds that the team will apply for the Censor rating in a day or two and the film will certainly hit the screens on September 8.

We will have to wait for the official announcement of the release date.

'Iru Mugan' is an international spy thriller directed by Anand Shankar. The film stars Vikram in dual roles while Nayanthara and Nithya Menen have played the female leads. The film has been produced by Shibu Thameens with the musical score of Harris Jayaraj.
