Lokesh Kanagaraj's mega flick 'Vikram' is one of the biggies that fans of all ages are eagerly awaiting. The young filmmaker has managed a rare casting coup by bringing together Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil as the main leads.
Already major portions of 'Vikram' have been shot in schedules that happened in Karaikudi, Chennai and Pondicherry. The final leg of shooting was planned to be wrapped up by February 28th but due to various factors including the urban body elections caused a slight delay.
To facilitate the speeding up of the remaining portions of 'Vikram', Kamal quit hosting 'Bigg Boss Ultimate'. There have been reports in the media that a crucial fight sequence between the protagonist Kamal and antagonist Vijay Sethupathi was canned for two weeks.
Now it is revealed that only one week of the intense fight sequence has been shot and the remaining portions will be completed in this schedule. Accordingly Lokesh has planned to wrap the entire film by mid March and the postproduction will begin. It is highly unlikely that 'Vikram' will hit the screens in April as planned earlier and a postponement announcement is expected soon.
'Vikram' has music by Anirudh with Girish Gangadharan handling the camera, Philomin Raj the editing and Anbariv the stunt choreography. The ensemble cast comprises of Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasail, Kalidas Jayaram, Shivani Narayanan, Mynaa Nandhini, VJ Maheshwari and Naren.
