The shooting Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was wrapped up earlier this week and the director had shared a video of the last shot of Fahadh Faasil firing a pistol that went viral. The team is now fully focussed on the postproduction work to meet the release deadline later this summer.

Raaj Kamal Films International has released an official statement that the release date of 'Vikram' will be announced at 7 am on March 14th which happens to be the birthday of Lokesh Kanagaraj.

'Vikram' is one of the most anticipated films of the year not only in Kollywood but also in pan Indian cinema for its casting that unites three powerhouse actors Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Further more the film marks Kamal Haasan's return to the big screen after nearly four years.

'Vikram' has music by Anirudh with Girish Gangadharan behind the lens and Philomin Raj incharge of the cuts. Apart from Kamal, VJS and Fahadh the film stars Narain, Chemban Vinod, Kalidas Jayaram, S Gayathrie, Shivani Narayanan, Mynaa Nandhini and VJ Maheshwari.
