Lokesh Kanagaraj who debuted with the critically acclaimed 'Maanagaram' went from strength to strength directing Karthi's mass hit 'Kaithi' and the monster hit 'Master' starring Thalapathy Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.
The sensational young director is gearing up to direct Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' which is expected to go on floors as soon as the COVID 19 pandemic situation gets under control. Fahadh Faasil is playing a parallel lead role while Vijay Sethupathi is said to be in the advanced stages of talks for the chief antagonist's character.
Lokesh so far has worked with the same core team for his previous three movies namely Sathyan Sooryan handling the cinematography and Philomin Raj serving as the editor. Now the news has broken out in Kollywood that due to scheduling conflicts Sathyan Sooryan has opted out of 'Vikram'.
It is said that popular cinematographer Girish Gangadharan of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' has come on board 'Vikram'. Stay tuned for this and other official updates on this exciting project in the near future.
