We brought the news earlier to you that the shooting of Kamal Haasan's new movie 'Vikram' has kickstarted in Karaikudi. The first scenes canned were with Vijay Sethupathi and Shivani Narayanan and that the entire film is expected to be completed in one stretch over the next month and a half.

Earlier today popular Malayalam and Tamil actor Narain joined the sets of 'Vikram'. He gushed on social media "A fan boy's dream come true moment,sharing screen space with the legend who inspired him to become an actor.Onboard #vikram @ikamalhaasan
Thankyou dear @Dir_Lokesh and @RKFI". He also shared a photo of himself in a half embrace with the legend himself.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj reacted writing "Welcome onboard sir...Happy to work with you again sir !". Kamal went one step further and wrote It's been long overdue. Welcome on board Narain". 'Vikram' has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The ensemble includes Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Kalidas Jayaram, Andrea Jeremiah and Shivani Narayanan.
