Narain is among the most talented actors in the Tamil industry. He made his film debut with director Mysskin's 'Chithiram Pesuthadi'. Narain won acclaim for his performances in 'Pallikoodam', 'Anjaathey' and 'Mugamoodi'. He was recently seen in Kamal Haasan starrer 'Vikram'.

Narain got married to Manju, a TV program producer, in Kozhikode on August 26, 2007. The couple was blessed with a baby girl named Tanmayaa in 2009. On their 15th wedding anniversary, Narain and Manju announced the happy news via social media that they are expecting their second child.

Sharing a picture with his wifey, who is seen showing the image of the scan report, the actor penned, "On this special day of our 15th Wedding Anniversary, happy to share the good news that we are expecting a new member in our family soon.@manjunarain #weddinganniversary #goodnews" (sic). This news is currently going viral on the internet.

The actor also shared another picture striking a pose with his better half and elder daughter Tanmayaa. On the work front, Narain played Inspector Bejoy in Kaithi (2019), who later became a member of Ghost's team in Vikram (2022). He will continue to reprise the Bejoy role in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
