As we all know maverick actor Vikram is presently busy shooting for 'Iru Mugan' directed by Anand Shankar, which is his first dual role flick. As we had reported earlier, Vikram has committed himself for a film to be directed by Thiru of 'Samar' fame. We had also reported that the film titled as 'Garuda' will go on floors from the 1st of April . 2016.

Now we learn that before the shooting begins on April 1, 'Garuda' will have a formal launch with a pooja to be held today in Chennai

The film stars Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Bollywood actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar will be the main villain. The supporting cast would include veterans Nasser and Karunaas.

Girinandh will be making his Kollywood debut as the music director with this film. Richard M.Nathan is the cinematographer. Anthony will take care of Editing. Sets will be designed by Maya Pandi. Shobhi will choreograph the dance steps for the songs while Anal Arasu will choreograph the stunts for this film touted as an action packed entertainer.
