As reported earlier Actor Vikram will start shooting for the third schedule of his upcoming mega budget action thriller 'Iru Mugan' directed by Anand Shankar. Now we have news about the another interesting project Vikram has taken up and he will start shooting for it very soon.

Earlier this year Vikram had committed to do a film with director 'Thiru' of 'Samar' fame. Now all important details about the film has been firmed up and the date of commencement of shoot has also been fixed.

The Vikram-Thiru project has been titled as 'Garuda'. Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in as the heroine and this is the 'Thupakki' girl's first film with the powerhouse performer Vikram. The film will be produced by the Silverline Film Factory banner.

Noted Bollywood actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar will be acting as the lead villain in this film. He has earlier acted as the villain in Thala Ajith starrer 'Arrambam'. The supporting cast would include veterans Nasser and Karunaas.

As reported by Indiaglitz earlier. Girinandh will be making his Kollywood debut as the music director with this film. Richard M.Nathan is the cinematographer. Anthony will take care of Editing. Sets will be designed by Maya Pandi. Shobhi will choreograph the dance steps for the songs while Anal Arasu will choreograph the stunts for this film touted as an action packed entertainer.

The shooting of 'Garuda' is all set to begin on April 1 in the outskirts of Chennai. A 100 acre land near Sriperumbudur has been hired for the shooting puropose and huge sets are being erected the.

After the first schedule in Chennai, the film will be shot in Pollachi, Coimbatore. Ahmadabad, Lucknow and a few Arab countries.
