Lokesh Kanagaraj has become the most talked about filmmaker now that he has delivered four back to back blockbuster hits right from his debut 'Maanagaram' to 'Kaithi', 'Master' and 'Vikram'.

On the eve of the release of 'Vikram', Lokesh tweeted a request to fans to watch his 'Kaithi' before entering the world of 'Vikram'. The reason why he said that is because the two worlds collide in the new movie with several references that would enhance the viewing eperience.

In 'Vikram' Narain reprises his role of the cop Bejoy from 'Kaithi' and in a crucial scene when Karthi is driving he is seen talking about the ghost on the phone who turns out to be Adaikalam in the film. But 'Vikram' shows that the real ghost is the title hero. Similarly Karthi (Voice only), his daughter, Arjun Das, Harish Uttaman and Dheena who played the lorry owner in 'Kaithi' make appearances.

Similary the drugs that were destroyed in 'Kaithi' set in Trichy is referenced throughout 'Vikram' and finally there is a surprise villain in the form of Rolex who will hopefully take on Dilli (Karthi) of and Kamal Haasan's ghost in 'Vikram 3'.
