Theevu Thidal aka Island Grounds is a popular destination in Chennai, where different exhibitions are conducted throughout the year. Chiyaan Vikram is currently shooting there, for his forthcoming film 'Rajapattai'.

A grand set is erected on Island Grounds after obtaining necessary permission from the authorities concerned. Director Suseenthiran has been canning some important scenes there, sources in the know say.

Recently, a song on the lead pair Vikram and Deeksha Seth was shot near Mahabalipuram. "It is a romantic number composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with lyrics by Yugabharathi. Vikram and Deeksha share great chemistry," sources say.

Vikram plays a gym instructor in this film, which is directed by Suseenthiran after the critically acclaimed 'Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai'. "However Rajapattai will be a commercial entertainer with mass elements," add sources.
