'Chiyaan' Vikram has been simultaneously working on director Gautham Menon's 'Dhruva Natchathiram' and 'Saamy Square', the sequel to his 2003 blockbuster directed by Hari.

The shooting of 'Saamy Square' resumed on Thursday in Tirunelveli. The makers are eyeing a May release and director Hari is always known for achieving quick release targets. 'Saamy Square' stars Vikram and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles, while Bobby Simha (who was seen in the Telugu film 'Run') is cast as the lead villain. Devi Sri Prasad provides the music score.

In all probability, 'SS' will release in June. This shields him from the intense April-May competition. After 'Sketch' released today in the Telugu states amid low buzz, this should be good news for him.
