Vikram's condition is stable after hospitalization

Versatile Tamil actor Vikram was today admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after he developed a sudden illness. The National Award winner had developed a high fever and is stable right now at the Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet.
Vikram was supposed to take part in the audio launch of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' at 6 pm today. He plays the important character of Aditya Karikalan.
'PS', also starring Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthik, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Rahman, Sarathkumar and Prabhu, is a September 30th release. Music is by AR Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varman, the production design by Thotta Tharani. Its story has been written by Kalki.
Vikram is also doing a thriller titled 'Cobra', which hits the screens on August 11. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, it has Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead and Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan as the chief antagonist.
