Actor Vikram who was last seen in the action thriller Kadaram Kondan is next acting in the movie Cobra directed by Arulnithi starrer Demonte Colony and Nayanthara starrer Imaikka Nodigal director Ajay Gnanamuthu.

Cobra is an action entertainer which also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, Mirnalini Ravi and Sarjano Khalid and is jointly produced by 7 Screen Studios Lalit Kumar and Viacom 18 studios. The movie was being shot in Russia, but due to lockdown, shooting has been cancelled indefinitely.

Recently, there were rumours that due to Coronavirus pandemic and huge losses for producers because of the delay, cobra team is planning to shoot the remaining Russia sequences in Chennai with green mat setup. However when a netizen asked about this on Twitter, Ajay Gnanamuthu immediately responded "No not possible", dismissing the rumour.
