Ganesh Venkatraman, the tough cop of ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, is going great guns. The young actor, who is currently acting with Sathyaraj for ‘Muriyadi’, has been roped in by ace Bollywood filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

We learn the film will be a bilingual, marking the south Indian entry of Bhatt. And he has signed Ganesh Venkatraman after watching ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, considering him the right choice for the lead character in his forthcoming movie.

Confirming this, Ganesh, who recently turned 28, says, “This could be my greatest birthday gift. But I can’t say much about it till an official announcement is made. I will surely reveal more details as soon as possible.”

Close on the heels of ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, Ganesh is once again sharing the screen space with Mohanlal for a Malayalam film titled ‘Casanova’. “It’s a delight to work with Mohanlal again. We might start shooting from April,” he says.
