Chiyaan Vikram is now shooting for his 58th movie, which was revealed to have been titled as Cobra. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, this movie is produced by 7 Screen Studios Lalit Kumar and Viacom 18 productions jointly, and is being planned as a Summer 2020 release.

It has been said that this movie will be an action thriller with a spy angle, and 50% of the shooting has been completed already. Cobra team is planning to shoot the remaining portions in Europe. Cobra will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, which has been the reason behind the common title.

The latest speculation making rounds is that, the first look of Cobra will be released on Republic day 2020. Cobra is the Tamil debut of Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty who had acted in KGF Chapter 1, and also is the Tamil acting debut of cricketer Irfan Khan. The movie has music by AR Rahman.
