Chiyaan Vikram is now shooting for his 58th movie Cobra which is directed by Ajya Gnanamuthu who had previously directed by Arulnithi starrer Demonte Colony and the Nayanthara, Atharvaa starrer Imaikkaa Nodigal and this movie is produced by 7 Screen studios and Viacom 18.

Cobra is an international action thriller and after schedules in Kerala, the team is next shooting in Russia and Chennai. The latest news making the rounds is that Cobra team is planning to release the movie on May 21, coinciding with Ramzan festival and an official announcement on the release date is expected soon.

Cobra has a huge cast including cricketer Irfan Pathan and Kannada heroine Srinidhi Shetty who are making their Tamil debut, Malayalam actor Sajano Khalid who is also making his debut in Tamil, director KS Ravikumar, Mirnalini Ravi, Mohammaed Ali Baig and many others and has music by AR Rahman.
