Is Murali Sharma the de facto hero of 'Vijetha'? If the Teaser is anything to go by, he not only has a substantial role but also has got a meaty screen space. One only hopes director Rakesh Sashii has not made any error of judgment regarding this.

Debutant male lead Kalyaan Dhev (Megastar Chiranjeevi's son-in-law) plays the typical guy-next-door grappling with intellectual issues. He is a perennial failure when it comes to bagging a 9-to-5 job. And such a dimwit has to invariably fall in love with the most beautiful girl in the street. Malavika Nair of 'Kalyana Vaibhogame' and 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' fame may take her sweet time to reciprocate but she will fall in love with him for sure.

Sai Korrapati's Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram is known for taking up serious (though not always mature) subjects. This time, the banner seems to have done a balancing act.

Set to hit the screens in July, 'Vijetha' has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and cinematography by KK Senthil Kumar.
