Farhan Akhtar has stunned the audience with the power packed teaser of his upcoming boxing film, 'Toofan'. Fans have appreciated the dedication Farhan has out into the character and professional boxer Vijender Singh seems to have taken notice of it as well. The champ took to Twitter appreciate the teaser as he wrote, "The teaser looks awesome! Thanks for putting boxing on the map. All the best @FarOutAkhtar"

Obviously Vijender was touched to see a well made film about the sport which he has dedicated his life to but Farhan was quite humble about Vijender's words. He replied, "Thank you, @boxervijender. Map par toh aapne aur aap jaise desh ko represent karnewale har ek boxer ne daala hai. Aap hain toh Toofaan hai."

This Farhan Akhtar's second sports based film. He and director, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra previously worked together on critically and commercially acclaimed 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. 'Toofan' will release in May 21 on Amazon Prime Video.
