Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi's 'Puriyatha Puthir' has hit the screens today. His next release will be 'Karuppan' directed by R.Panneerselvam of 'Renigunta' fame and produced by A.M.Ratnam. Tanya has played the female lead in this film, which is getting ready to hit the screens in September last week.

TN the press meet conducted on the sidelines of the film's audio launch function Vijay Sethupathi answered a range of questions from press persons.

To a question on whether he plans to take up direction, Vijay Sethupathi said it has always been his dream to direct a film and he will do that after he gains the necessary knowledge and experience.

As many Kollywood heroes are on the list of expected future politicians, Vijay Sethupathi also had to encounter a question about his interest towards taking a political plunge.

To this, the Makkal Selvan said I will come to politics only to cast my vote.
