In their last association, the duo brought captivating actor Vidyut Jamwal to Kollywood and this time it's Bong. After 'Thupakki', director AR Murugadoss of all India fame through 'Ghajini' has teamed up with Ilayathalapathy again and here's the latest from its sets. In the whee hours between midnight and 4 AM, along the bylanes of Kolkata, rolls a camera to can a gripping chase sequence. Shooting for close to a week in Kolkata, the Vijay-ARM project is bringing home a new material for villain this time - Bengali actor Tota Roy Choudhury.

According to the script, villain is a Vijay Banerjee, an international gangster fluent in Bengali; this explains half the reason why Choudhury was preferred for the role over his Bollywood counterparts. A source close to the team further revealed a twist in the movie - it is after this gripping chase sequence that the villain is put behind bars where he vows to take revenge on the hero. But when he eventually breaks the jail to escape, he lands with a duplicate of the hero.

Vijay's New villain

"For the jail break, we will start shooting in Rajahmundry, starring 21st this month, after which we will head to Hyderabad" says ARM who reveals why Tito Roy. "Vivek Banerjee is fluent in Bengali and we wanted someone convincingly true for the role and we eventually landed Tito Roy." The Vijay-Samantha starrer is yet to be titled, while audience fancy to call it Vijay57, as this film marks Vijay's 57th in his career.
