Ilayathalabathi` Vijay`s 40th birthday was celebrated with a lot of frenzy yesterday (June 22, 2014). Since it was on Sunday, large number of fans could take part in the celebrations that also included a host of welfare activities, like blood donation camps, donating financial aid for education and wedding of children and youngsters from economically poor families and many others.

The actor spent his birthday in Hyderabad in the shooting spot of Kaththi`, his upcoming film that is being directed by A.R.Murugadoss. The highly anticipated first look poster of Kaththi` was released yesterday n account of the star`s birthday and it has delighted the fans and movie buffs.
