Vijay's son to reprise Mega hero in big remake: Reports

Vijay Sethupathi has reportedly acquired the Tamil remake rights of 'Uppenna', the Telugu film directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and director Sukumar.
As per a report published by The New Indian Express, Jason Sanjay will play the male lead in the remake. If you are wondering who Sanjay is, he is none other than the young son of Kollywood's numero uno star Vijay. Debutant Mega hero Vaisshnav Tej has played the lead man in 'Uppena'.
The Telugu version is yet to hit the screens but it has already found its way into Tamil cinema. Starring Krithi Shetty as the heroine, the romantic actioner has Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a violent baddie. He will co-produce the remake in Tamil and also play the antagonist's role once again.
An official confirmation about Jason Sanjay's debut is awaited.
