Puli` is fast nearing completion and the team of director Chimbudevan is working doubly hard to meet the release deadline on Illayathalapathi Vijay`s birthday on June 22nd. Art Director T. Muthuraj is erecting a huge set at a cost of Rupees Five Crores at Thalakonam near Tirupathi.

Over 200 workers are on the job 24X7 to bring to life a fantasy land where Vijay will make a Grand Entry in the opening song of the movie choreographed by Sridhar. The set will be ready in two months time and in the meantime Vijay has finished one song each with Shruthi Haasan and Hansika as well as some crucial scenes involving Prabhu in this schedule. Devishri Prasad is the music director while Natty Natraj handles the camera for Puli` which is Vijay`s costliest film to date and is produced by his former PRO P.T. Selvakumar.
