Vijay's 'Nanban' success bash

  • IndiaGlitz, [Friday,January 20 2012]

Not so long ago Vijay threw a small success bash for his biggie 'Velayudham' that raked in good moolah last Diwali. Now, the Ilayathalapathy threw a private success party for his 'Nanban' team at his villa in Chennai.

The party was to celebrate the success of 'Nanban' that is a clean family entertainer which is running to packed theatre houses. Although the other Pongal release, 'Vettai' is doing good business as well both the films aren't really competing at the BO as the genres are entirely different which is being a boost to both the movies in screens.

Present at the success bash were Vijay, director Shankar, Jiiva, Srikanth, Resul Pookutyy and the 'Nanban' team. A success party for the press is being organized this evening by the team.

The film stars Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana and Sathyaraj in the lead roles and has music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is a faithful remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ and throws light on the rigid education system in colleges.
