The team flew to Japan recently to shoot in the picturesque locales of Osaka, which the director and actor fell in complete love with, and think is the best place for the particular shoot. Osaka is full of traditional and ancient richness which has impressed the team and driven them to work there.

However, the earthquake threat and torrential rains have hindered with the procedure of acquiring rights for shoot in the dream locale. The team were to return to India and carry the shooting on a later date, calling in for further expenses. But Vijay stepped in to help, speaking to the concerned authorities, hastening the process of permissions, and also pitching in his own money at places where the team fell short of funds for shoot.
