It is hardly surprising that SS Rajamauli's recently released film 'RRR' has turned out to be such a huge critical and commercial success. Starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan among others, 'RRR' had immense hype around it and it certainly lived up to it. Considering films popularity and box office success, it'd make sense for makers to turn it into a franchise.
Recently, writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is also father of SS Rajamauli, shared that he has some ideas about the potential sequel for 'RRR'. "Some ideas popped up, as I started exploring the possible sequel. Everybody liked it too. If God is willing, it may happen sometime later," he said according to a report in Koimoi.
Talking further, Prasad said, "NTR is basking in the glorious success of RRR right now. He has been vocal about this movie being his career’s best performance. There is no truth in the talk that NTR was given lesser preference, while he is the one who got one of the best, emotional songs in the movie."
He concluded by saying, “Let the stars enjoy their success. Please don’t rub your insecurities and personal agendas on them."
