There is now enough evidence to believe that Vijayashanthi's role is way too important in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. The senior Tollywoodian has revealed that she has already shot for 50 days for the Sankranthi release. And many more days have been assigned by her for the film. "The magnitude of shooting work that I have had to put in goes to show that I have a role that is on a par with the male lead's," Vijayashanthi says.

She also said in an interview that the performance of Mahesh Babu as the child actor of 'Koduku Diddina Kapuram’ convinced her that he would go places in the future. Her prediction, made back then in an interview, has stood the test of time. "The rise of Mahesh is comparable with the rise of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar," she adds.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, 'SN' will clash with Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' at the box-office. Rashmika Mandanna is its heroine.
