The Delhi liquor scam case has been taking intriguing turns now and then. The latest development to storm the case is this: P Sarath Chandra Reddy, who is related to YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy’s son-in-law, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday.

The arrested individual has been a Director of Aurobindo Pharma, one of the biggest pharma giants in the country. Benoy Babu, who is associated with Pernod Ricard India, has also been detained.

The scam has seen major commentary across the political spectrum. AAP leader and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s aide Dinesh Arora has also been named in the scam.

Quoting sources from the ED, CNBC-TV18 today said that P Sarath Chandra Reddy, Executive Director of Aurobindo Pharma, is arrested on money laundering charges. So also Pernod Ricard's Benoy Babu.

The development is likely to create a political talking point in the politics of Andhra Pradesh in the coming days.
