Actor Vijayalakshmi has won the first season of the Tamil reality game show Survivor. The series, which started in September this year, started with 16 contestants and two more were added to it as wild card entries. Vijayalakshmi competed with the 17 contestants including Vikranth, Nandaa, Narayan, Inigo Prabhakar, Umapathy, Saran, Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Aishwarya Krishnan, Gayathri, Indraja Shankar, Besant Ravi and VJ Parvathy in the show. The contestants were sent to a secluded island where they had to perform tasks and overcome difficult challenges.

The actress won a majority of the votes from the jury members and became the sole survivor. Vijayalakshmi was awarded a cash prize of Rs 1 crore. She took to Instagram to thank the jury members who voted for her and her fans for their continued support.

She shared a photo of herself from her home. We can see a banner that reads, "Welcome home sole survivor (sic)." In the show, the 18 contestants were sent to a secluded island where they will have to perform tasks and overcome difficult challenges.

She shared a thank-you note to fellow contestants and her fans who supported her throughout the journey. Sharing a photo, she wrote, "Thank you everyone for the love and wishes. Thanks to my 17 co-contestants for the memories to cherish. I know how much we all struggled there from day 1. I have tons of superhero stories on you guys to tell! Can’t believe we lived through that phase! BIG RESPECT N LOVE to you HEROES n FIGHTERS."

She also shared a photo of her sore and tired feet and wrote, " Nothing worth having comes easy. Finally.. Good to be back n insta". Meanwhile, Vijayalakshmi was recently seen in Chimbu Deven's hyperlink film Kasada 'Thapara'.
