Vijayakanth to become Dr Vijayakanth

The Florida-based International Institute of Church Management (IICM) will confer an honorary doctorate on actor and DMDK president Vijayakanth for his services to the society.
According to Edward Inbanathan, who is associated with the institute, the doctorate will be presented to the ÂCaptain at a function in Chennai on December 3. ÂIICMÂs chief will take part in the event, he said.
Headquartered in the United States, IICMÂs key objective is to provide continuing education for pastors, evangelists, Bible teachers and Christian leaders. ÂWe are happy to confer the doctorate on the Captain, he said.
Meanwhile, songs of VijayakanthÂs forthcoming film ÂVirudhagiriÂ, which were launched a couple of days ago, have created waves among party workers with ÂYezhaigalin Thozhan  and ÂMakkal Oru Puram  topping the list.
