Shanmugapandian, who made his debut with 'Sagaptham' a few months back, is getting ready for his second heroic venture. "After listening to a bunch of scripts, things are getting shape now," sources said.

"This time, Shanmugapandian will try his hands in a totally different genre. An official announcement will be made by Captain Cine Creations soon," sources added.

The younger son of actor and DMDK president Vijayakanth, popularly known as Captain in the industry and among fans, Shanmugapandian equipped himself with martial arts and dance before donning the greasepaint
