Veteran actor and politician Vijayakanth had a successful film career before entering into politics. The latest report states that the 'Ramana' actor is all set to make his comeback in a top music director turned actor's movie.

Vijay Antony has joined hands with director Vijay Milton for an offbeat film, and it has been titled 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan'. The film is said to revolve around a man who hates rain. Actor Vijayakanth who was away from the films due to his illness and political entry is reportedly to make a comeback in this.

According to sources, Vijayakanth will be joining the team soon, and the makers are expected to make an official announcement about the actor's participation. The shooting of 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' is going on floors in and around Chennai. This film marks the re-entry of Vijayakanth after six years.

Vijayakanth last played a cameo role in his son Shanmugan Pandian's 'Sagaptham'. He was famous for his fierce acting in films such as, 'Ramana', ' Sattam Oru Iruttarai', 'Vallarasu', the family drama 'Vaanathai Pola' and many more.
