Actor turned politician Vijayakanth who has been doing things that gather loads of appreciation from the public, has followed suit with the other opposition parties that have announced various forms of protest to force the Tamil Nadu Government to prohibit liquor sales.

Vijaykanth, the leader of opposition in the Tamil Nadu state assembly and also the founder of the Desiya Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party has announced a Protest March from his office located at Koyambedu to the Fort St.George where the Tamil Nadu assembly is functioning on Thursday between 4 to 5 pm.

In this protest carried out to press the government to implement prohibition, thousands of DMDK cadres are expected to walk behind the Captain` and raise slogans against the ill effects of liquor.
