Shooting of climax scenes for 'Vijayadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sai Sarwajit Movies with Nandamuri Kalyanram in the lead is in progress at Ramoji Film City from July 28.
Producer Edara Ranga Rao says, 'All the lead artistes in the film would be involved in climax shooting to be held for about a week from July 28. We took a decision to release the film on September 6 and the entire unit is working hard to complete the film in the set deadline. Our hero Kalyanram and director V Samudra are struggling a lot and working hard like never before for this movie. We shot for about four nights totally without break. There are instances where we started our shooting at 7 am and continued it till 11 pm to 12 pm. There are days where we continued the shooting till 2 am. At the same time, post-production works are also in progress simultaneously at the same pace. We are confident that our film 'Vijayadasami' would earn us a big hit in this 'Sarvajit' year.'
Director V Samudra says, 'Presently climax shooting is in progress. Fight master Stun Siva, who composed the hero's introductory fight excellently, planned the climax episode in an extraordinary manner. The climax would be the highlight of the movie. 'Vijayadasami' would remain a milestone in Kalyanram's career. Paruchuri brothers made changes to the script in this regard. They made several betterments to the script. The film was able to get an action and emotional climax. Srikant Deva's music would be another plus point, while Ram Prasad's cinematography would be another highlight. When it comes to production values, our producer did not compromise on quality and ensured the Telugu remake on the standards of AM Ratnam, who made the original 'Sivakasi'. When it comes to artistes' performance, Kalyanram excelled in the lead role and proved the Nandamuri legacy. Talking about the performance of Jayasudha is nothing but degrading her. Suman played an excellent role on the lines of Rajanikanth in 'Pedarayudu' film. Saikumar once again gave an extraordinary performance as a villain. Mounika of 'Radha-Madhu'-fame was a perfect fit as a sister and Brahmanandam's comedy needs no specific mention. Kalyani of 'Yendamavulu (serial)'-fame played the role of Saikumar's wife and puts up brilliant performance. Like this, each and every artiste gave their best for this movie. We will complete the shooting part by August 20 and bring out the film on September 6.'
Saikumar says, 'It is almost a dream role for me. This villain role is a challenge for me as an artiste. I tried my level best to do justice to the character. I am confident that the audiences would receive me well in this role.'
