A few days earlier Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth lodged a police complaint that around 60 sovereigns of gold, diamond and silver jewels had gone missing from the locker in her house. On investigation Easwari a house maid of the celebrity was arrested and police recovered more than 100 sovereigns of jewels belongin to Aishwarya. Investigations are going on.

Now the news has come in that singer and actor Vijay Yesudas has also lost 60 sovereigns of gold jewelry form his Abhiramapuram residence in Chennai. His wife Darshana lodged a complaint at the Abhiramapuram police station and two special teams have been formed for the investigation. The police have made inquiries with all the household staff of Vijay Yesudas and also former employees as well. It is worth mentioning that Aishwarya and Dhanush are close friends of Darshana and Vijay Yesudas.

Vijay Yesudas the son of legendary playback singer KJ Yesudas started his career as a singer and later turned actor in Dhanush's super hit film 'Maari' directed by Balaji Mohan. He also played the main lead in 'Padaiveeran' costarring Bharathiraja and Amritha Aiyer. Two celebrities becoming victims of similar type of jewelry thefts has shocked Kollywood celebrity circles.
