Popular Singer Vijay Yesudas, made his acting debut playing the lead antagonist in Dhanush' s 'Maari'. Now the young singer cum actor has emerged as a hero with the upcoming Tamil film 'Padaiveeran'.

'Padaiveeran' is being directed by debutante Dhana who has worked as an Assistant director for Mani Ratnam in 'Kadal' and 'O Kadhal Kanmani'.

The film stars debutant Amritha as the female lead. Veteran director Iyakkunar Imayam Bharathiraja will be seen playing an important character in the film. Kalaiyarasan,'Kallori' Akhil, Vijay balaji, Manoj Kumar, Nitheesh and many others play the supporting roles.

Karthick Raja will be rendering the music score for he film. Rajavel Mohan will be handling the cinematography for this film after 'Kanchana' and 'O Kadhal Kanmani' Bhuvan Srinviasan is the Editor.

'Padaiveeran' is being produced by Madhivanan under his Evoke banner.

The first look poster of the film has been released today by none other than actor Arvind Swamy who made a comeback in Tamil film swith 'Kadal' in 2013.
