Vijay's 'Whistle' locks release date

Vijays Whistle locks release date

Vijay-starer 'Whistle' ('Bigil' in Tamil) will hit the screens this Diwali. The precise release date is October 25.

A sports drama directed by Atlee, it might clash with Karthi's 'Khaidi', whose Tamil version too is releasing on the same date. The Telugu version's date of the Karthi film is yet to be announced.

As for 'Whistle', the Telugu version is going to have a grand release in 400 screens or so in the Telugu States. The theatrical rights value of the film is said to be Rs 9 Cr. With music by AR Rahman, the film has dialogues by Sreeramakrishna. Cinematography is by GK Vishnu.
