Among the last week releases. S.V.Shekher's 'Manal Kayiru 2' and Sasikumar's 'Balle Vellaiyathevaa' had acquired the precious Tax Free status since both the films fulfilled all the precondtions for the waiver of 30% Entertainment Tax payable to the State Government.

Now among this week's slew of releases Vijay Vasanth-Samuthirakani starrer 'Achamindri' whcih has been certified with a clean U certificate has also acquired the Tax Free status. This is a great news for the producer VVV Records banner and also all the other stakeholders of the film.

The film's total running time will be two minutes less than two hours.

'Achamindri' is action thriller film that deals with the crimes and corruption prevalent in Education system. Vijay Vasanth plays the lead role of a petty thief. Samuthirakani plays an important supporting of police officer in this film after 'Visaranai' for which he won the Nationala ward. Shrushti Dange has played the female lead while Radharavi and Saranya Ponvanna have played other important characters. Premji Amren has rendered the music score.

The film directed by Rajapandi will be hitting the screens on December 30, 2016.
