We all know that many youngsters and celebrities are coming forward as volunteers to help the stranded people affected by the rains and floods of Cyclone Michaung. Now, popular Vijay TV star Bala of 'Kalakapovathu Yaru' fame has offered cash money from his family to 200 affected families.
KPY Bala took Rs 2 lakh from his savings and contributed Rs 1000 to 200 hundred families which suffered due to the Chennai floods in 2023. While talking to the media, he said, "It was the people of Chennai who gave me life. I have taken 2 lakh rupees from my account and gave 1000 rupees each to 200 families just to do something for the people of Chennai in return."
"Anakaputhur was the first place I landed in Chennai. So I came here to help the people of this area. I have given my own money and this is not from any donation," added Bala. The public and netizens are expressing appreciation towards his noble gesture to help the people out of his own pocket in their time of need. This news is going viral now.
