His departure marks the end of an era and has sparked widespread speculation about who will take over the reins of the show.

Recent reports suggest that Vijay TV has approached several major stars, including Suriya, Simbu, and Vijay Sethupathi, to step in as the new host for "Bigg Boss Tamil" Season 8. Among these names, Simbu and Vijay Sethupathi are reportedly the frontrunners. Suriya has previously hosted "Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi" on Vijay TV, while Simbu hosted "Bigg Boss Ultimate", and Vijay Sethupathi is recognized for his hosting stint on "Master Chef Tamil".

In addition to these big names, insiders reveal that the channel is also in discussions with actors Arvind Swamy, Prakash Raj, and Ramya Krishnan as potential hosts. Arvind Swamy and Prakash Raj have both hosted previous seasons of "Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi" on Vijay TV, while Ramya Krishnan has served as a judge on the channel’s "Jodi No 1". However, these speculations remain unconfirmed.
