Sarathkumar is the first mainstream hero who did the daring role of a transsexual in Raghava Lawrence`s super hit Kanchana`. The internet was abuzz with rumors that Vijay Vasanth is playing a transsexual in his next film.

When we checked on that it turns out that the rumor is about Vijay Vasanth who acted with Illayathalapathy Vijay in Nanban`. Vijay Vasanth had a decent outing with Ennamo Nadakuthu` and is now teaming up with the same director Rajapandi for a film titled Achamillai`, which has the lovely Shrusti Dange as the female lead. Rajapandi clarified that Vijay was not playing the role of a transsexual and rumors generated because the film was earlier titled Sigandi` a character in the Mahabarat who belonged to the third gender. However, the hero in Achamillai` is a man who waits patiently for years to take revenge on his enemy much like what Sigandi did against Bheeshma .
